FIIs were net sellers in the cash segment on Wednesday at Rs7.24bn on a provisional basis. But, the local funds were net buyers of Rs8.96bn, according to figures published on the NSE's web site. In the F&O segment, the foreign funds were net buyers at Rs3.73bn. On Tuesday, the foreign funds were net buyers of Rs13.4bn in the cash segment. Their net investments in Indian stocks this year is above $14.4bn. Mutual Funds were net sellers at Rs6.37bn on Tuesday.
