Today, Stock and futures commodities markets will hold Muhurat trading to mark the beginning of new Samvat 2066. The special trading will be held between 1815 hrs and 1925 hrs after Lakshmi Puja at 1600 hrs at the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange.
The Multi-Commodity Exchange and the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange will hold the Muharat trading between 1815 hrs and 1925 hrs. For Delhi and Mumbai bullions and oil and pepper markets it is business as usual on Diwali. However, other wholesale commodity markets will remain closed on account of Diwali.
