Pri-Market Commentary!

Today, we expect markets to open on a cautious note with mix signals coming in from Asian markets. Any fall could well see some selective buying. However, the approach now needs to be stock-specific. Most global markets but for China clocked gains but Indian indices remained in a sorry state last week. With inflation hitting a three-year high of 7%, bears tightened their grip.

Some results will start kicking in this week. All eyes would be on what
the RBI and finance ministry will do to curb inflation. Expectations are
that the central bank may step in before its annual monetary policy
meets later this month. Even if global situation improves slightly, the
local worries could keep bears in control for some time.
